Sometimes we rescue horses, sometimes we rescue people!
Our goal is to bring peace and calm into the middle of chaos for incoming horses!
VOLUNTEERS MAKE THE WORLD GO ROUND!!!
We have several regular volunteers and some who serve when they can! Anyone who wants to volunteer can contact us and we will discuss ways you can help too. We are always looking for people with a variety of skill-sets and horse experience so even if you have never been around horses, we are willing to teach you if you are willing to learn!
Although working with horses is a large part of what we do, there are many other jobs that go into running a rescue including: social media coordinators, writers, proofreaders, web developers, event planners, fundraising coordinators, construction workers, maintenance workers, landscapers, etc. If you have a skill and time to donate, we would love to add you to our team! We also hold fundraisers in the summer and need a team to serve at Pet Smart on the weekends!!!

Candice Fenwick is a former boarder at McConathy farm. She recently bought her own farm down the road but still loves to come to help out the rescue whenever she can including updates to our website! She has three horses of her own including a rescue horse, Bodan!
Shelly Fisher is the proud sponsor of Bonnie and Lilly (the pigs), and Clyde (the goat)! Shelly lives down the road as well and helps the rescue with throwing hay, outings, and everything in between.
